Users can make reservations for tours and activities through this website. By making a reservation, the user agrees to pay the corresponding fees as indicated on the site.
Payment Method: Payments will be processed via ONVO Pay, ensuring secure and reliable transactions. - Reservation Policy
Availability of Reservations:
As long as availability permits, users can make reservations directly on our website. If there are no available spots for the selected tour, we will contact the user by email or WhatsApp to offer alternatives and modify the reservation based on availability. If a satisfactory agreement cannot be reached, the tour will be canceled with the corresponding refunds, as per our Cancellation Policy. - Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy varies depending on the type of reservation (individual or group) and the notice period. The specific conditions are as follows:
Individual Reservations
Applicable for bookings of 1 to 4 vehicles (single or double tour):
Cancellation with more than 48 hours’ notice: 100% refundable.
• Cancellation between 24 and 48 hours before the activity: 50% refundable.
• Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice: Non-refundable.
Group Reservations
Applicable for bookings of 5 or more vehicles (single or double):
• Cancellation with more than 5 days’ notice: 100% refundable.
• Cancellation between 48 hours and 5 days before the activity: 50% refundable.
• Cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice: Non-refundable.
No Show:
For both types of reservations, a no show (failure to appear without prior notice) will incur a 100% penalty, with no right to a refund.
- Weather Conditions and Activity Modifications
The weather in Fortuna can be unpredictable, with sudden changes between sun, clouds, rain, or thunderstorms. Original Arenal ATV clarifies that activities will not be canceled or refunded due to rain. Tours will proceed as scheduled, except in cases of persistent electrical storms that do not subside before the scheduled start time.
Electrical Storms:
In the case of electrical storms, which usually last only a few minutes, a reasonable waiting time will be given to allow conditions to improve. If, after this time, conditions are not suitable for the activity, the customer may choose to reschedule or cancel the reservation, depending on availability. - Reservation Modifications
If there is no availability for the selected tour, we will contact the user by email or WhatsApp to offer alternatives. If an agreement cannot be reached, the reservation will be canceled, and refunds will be processed according to our cancellation policy. - Contact
